Our server, Travis, was outstanding. Very polite. The Restaurant Manager, Greg has outstanding customer service skills. He stands far and above average manager.
You are paying for the experience along with the food. Everything was excellent and the server, Miguel, was very good. Drinks are creative as well. Expensive-not a regular dinner venue but would recommend for special nights out.

Food is always good. Service was nice and the manager always checks on patrons tables.

The appetiser was OK-bordered on bland but OK. Salad was excellent. Entree had some good items and some bland items. Deserts were delicious. Foods were fresh and good quality. We left full-stuffed and didn't eat it all. Seemed high priced for what you got. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was nice for a quiet night out as we had a nice small secluded booth.
Food was great and so was the service. Seems like a lot of work/training for the wait staff, but our waitress did a great job. very informative and explained the process well, which was much appreciated for first timers...
Disproportionate serving sizes for each course and for the price.
The quality of the food is not worth the amount charged.
Because we used this "coupon" they wouldn't let me get my box of chocolate strawberries for my bday. I thought that was a little "cheap" I mean, we spent $150. even after the "coupon".
So much food and our server really guided us through the feast!
Had a VERY rushed experience. Our server was training a new server who wasn't very good. We also had one very yucky piece of chicken on our entree- very unappetizing.

Visited The Melting Pot for our 1 year anniversary. Lauren was our server and she did an amazing job - one of the reasons the visit was so enjoyable. The food was delectable and the atmosphere (one of the main reasons why we chose the place) didn't disappoint. Will absolutely visit again (only after not eating all day to make room for wonderful food!)
I went with my family to celebrate my birthday. We all loved the food and the overall experience. My children (ages 13-17) really loved the fondue choices. I was very glad that as a larger party (more than 4) we got two fondue pots as that allowed us to have more options. Getting all 5 of us to decide on one cheese and one chocolate would have been impossible. Our waitress, Becky, was great - very friendly and very helpful with choices. We will definitely do this again!

Everything was exceptional, but I do not live in the area, and it is too far to travel unless we are just passing through. I wish we were closer.
Too overpriced and I was underwhelmed. The waitress was condescending, the person filling our waterglasses should have gotten the tip.I can't believe I paid a 100.00 to play with a deepfryer. Will not be back and will not recomend to anybody.
The cheese and desserts were really good. The salad course was solid also. It was odd cooking the main course 2 bites ata time and I am not used to looking at raw food on a plate in front of me while I eat. The people were very nice and the atmosphere was fun though. I know of some better places for less money in town so I probably wont go back.
It is a great atmosphere for visiting while eating. The server timed each course perfectly so we felt neither rushed nor neglected. It was a very nice meal and experience.
I took my niece for her 1st time; this was my 2nd. Our waitress and entire staff were SO nice and friendly. They always smiled and it just made the visit even more special. We look forward to another visit before another year passes :)
the food was very good! the only thing I did not particularly like was one of the managers kept coming by our table and would stay too long. I didn't like that.

My husband and I had a fantastic dining experience at The Melting Pot. Our server, Eric, was especially kind, helpful, and humorous. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, and we can't possibly say enough good things about this place. We will definitely return to dine at The Melting Pot in Charlottesville soon. :-) Thank you!
We love The Melting Pot for a special treat. It is one of very few restaurants we would drive 45 minutes from home to visit.
