Very authentic Mexican food: delicious and copious!
Authentic Greek food in portions large enough to take home for lunch the next day.
The food was amazing.
Nice people and good food for fair price.
Waitress was patient when I had trouble getting the app to load to use my certificate. Great food and service.
Everyone was pleased with their meal. I had the Camarones a la Diabla. Very good and very HOT! Only draw back is that we just had a language barrier going. Wasn't sure what everything meant on the menu and the very nice servers did not speak that great of English.
Great Authentic Mexican food. Loved everything about it!
Amazing waitress!
The salsa was unique to other Mexican restaurants - a little too spicy for me so I didn't eat much of it - wish they had a sweeter version but husband loved it ! The sweet tea was awesome - part lemon and sugar flavor - not overpowering for either - just right so we knew the food was going to be delish ! We ordered the big 25.00 meal and our very first tripe taco - very pleased with everything we ordered !
Server was attentive. The name on certificate did not match the name at the actual location, confusing. Ordered a plate with multiple meats, tortillas, onion, bell pepper etc. Tasted great but was hard to eat because everything was so large in size and the knife provided could not do the job to cut anything, and the plates were small. Had to pay extra for sour cream, etc. The atmosphere is casual, wobbly tables. Think this place needs an upgrade in menu and decor/atmosphere. What was ordered was decent, except the frozen margarita; just no. On the rocks marg, the first go around is OK, Second round is 99% ice.
Really weird horrible food
Food was excellent, but the services was a little slow.
Authentic Mexican dishes.
Authentic Mexican dishes.
Authentic food, very friendly staff, even a personal mariachi singer at our table. Great margaritas and salsa - two signs of a place I want to return to.
Awesome food, great service!!
Wonderfully friendly service. And I have never had so much meat in a meat dish at a Mexican restaurant!! And huge portions. My wife and I split her leftovers for breakfast and were still satisfied.
Our waiter recommended what we should order & it was excellent!!
Great fish tacos. Rice and beans were ok
We really liked the food! Hope to go back with friends sometime. Prices reasonable, especially for the amount of food for each dish. Please note that the signage outside is for El Torito, not Hectorito. It's side by side with a terrific Mexican grocery store. The atmosphere was relaxed, and we were asked where we would like to sit. We didn't feel rushed, even after our meal was over. The fresh tortilla chips were warm and flavorful, and the red salsa, and the thick green salsa were enjoyed by the hot spice lovers in our party. Our meals came out quickly! My son had the Bean Burrito and Cheese Quesadilla Combo $8.99-the burrito was big, covered in what I presume was queso blanco and garnished with a red sauce. The quesadilla a typical fold over, cut in two wedges, set on the shredded lettuce salad. In addition, the Combo included refried beans and yellow rice. My husband and I both ordered the El Torito Fajita-plump, flavorful shrimp, and sliced chicken and beef seasoned flavorfully, but NOT 'hot', and pan seared with sliced onions and red bell peppers. I was glad to note that the onions were cooked enough to not have that raw onion that I dislike. The combination was brought out on SIZZLING cast iron oval pans on wooden holders. WOW! Looked and smelled awesome, steaming and sizzling for a long time. The 'sides' occupied a separate oval luncheon sized plate for each of us. There were refried beans-soft and flavorful, yellow rice, creamy quacamole-thankfully not spicy (the salsas were left on the table, and could be added to taste if wanted), shredded lettuce salad (hm-a bit of onion and cilantro in there I think) (I don't like cilantro, but it was easy to pick out. My husband liked the bite.), and sour cream. Small flour tortillas came wrapped in a foil roll for each of us to keep them warm. For the most part we both opted to eat without wrapping the items into a fajita! Eating was Both my son and I took some home. $13.99 ea. We split a flan for dessert. $2.99. It was thick, tasted more like the kind made with con
Several things in order were wrong, guacamole tasted funny, waitress seemed inexperie.
Felt like we were in Mexico...super!
Food was good. Service was excellent.
Same address, different name for the restaurant. Fortunately they honored the certificate.
