Excellent service and delicious Indian food. An Ithaca gem!
Most importantly the food is delicious. Second, service is polite and warm.
Server was friendly, attentive and helpful in making our selections. Food was excellent, spouse had shrimp/mushroom curry and I had paneer dish.

It was a very busy night but the staff was mostly attentive. I didn't get more hot water for tea. The entrees were generous and tasty but the vegetables are overcooked as is normal for Indian food. Our impression was that the mango drinks have come down in price- very good. We had a few extras including raita to cool the heat of the curries. We enjoy dining here- return visit.

I dine here often this is the first time the food was not good, the naan was very doughy so I asked for a new order it was delivered but was still not done well. The staff member who I asked for a new order was not friendly nor did he say he was sorry. The Mango Chicken which I often order was not very good this time either, rubbery not much flavor.
Not many restaurants have lamb in their Indian food choices. This one does and it is always so tender! Everything we have there is delicious!!
Simple, casual place with excellent food and service.
Server was friendly, helpful with suggestions, no issues using certificate. Food arrived quickly, all tasted great. Only iissue is a large party of 12 arrived & was seated near us so got noisy & hard to carry conversation.
Wonderful service, authentic, delicious food, and reasonable prices! I lived in India for 5 months, and eating here is always like stepping back there.

Waiter was not very good. Food came out really slow and no one asked if things were ok. They brought boxes and the check and no bag to put it in. They wouldn't take more than one certificate and there is nothing stating you can only use one per visit. Just that you must eat in.
Some high points like the bindi masala and pakora, but the vindaloo was a disappointment--it had no seasoning and too much tomato. More like chicken cacciatore than chicken vindaloo.

this is one of my favorite places for indian buffet lunch. this time i tried to order from the regular menu. i thought the service was slow. it seemed the staff was not used to patrons ordering off the standard menu for lunch.

We've been eating at Diamond's for at least 30 years. It is the best Indian cuisine we have eaten, and we've tried all the Indian restaurants we find between NY and FL. Family owned, excellent food, excellent service, none better.

The food was excellent! The restaurant was busy but the waitress did her best to take care of us. To add to the dining experience, it would be nice to have indian music playing and have some education about indian culture/traditions while being served our meal.

This is our favorite restaurant in town for a delicious, reasonably priced meal of food that is not easy to reproduce at home! We love the owners and like to be able to support a locally owned business. The decor is nothing to write home about, but it's really all about the excellent food and friendly atmosphere. They have many vegetarian dishes are extremely accommodating to those who are avoiding dairy, so it suits people of varying dietary needs. Now that we have found a few items for our picky 6-year-old, we do not hesitate to bring the whole family.
Hot tea came out lukewarm. Quickly resolved. Service was good, food came out quickly. Quality was good, though "medium spice" came out mild.

Diamonds knows what's up with Indian food. You may have to try it a few times before you figure out what you like. The menu descriptions are not always helpful. For us, its the vegetarian appetizer sampler, matar paneer, and chicken kadahi.Some people may be surprised/disappointed to find that a lot of the entrees are basically just meat and sauce. If you ask them to add in some veggies, they will happily do so, and last time I checked they don't charge for this.Only downside is their alcohol selection is a bit slim.
Since our son visited India on Rotary Exchange, we find New Delhi Diamonds a great way to connect with his experience. The food is excellent. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and gracious in explaining the extensive variety presented on their menu.

Service was atrocious. Not once did anybody check on us to see how our food turned out from appetizer to dessert. Chutneys for appetizer seemed from a jar. I asked for extra spicy and it was barely spicy at all, disappointing all over.

Alwalys great food and great owners and service. They need to work little bit more on better service. Cleaning off tables with dirty food falling on the chair and on the floor, bathroon not clean etc. Food is excellent and peoople who owns are hard working they need to improve service level etc.

The food at New Delhi Diamond's is always top notch! They offer a wide array of incredibly flavorful vegetarian food as well as meat dishes at a very reasonable cost. The service is always very friendly and helpful. It is my favorite restaurant! What a bargain that they also offer the Restaurant.com certificates!
It is a great restaurant. Our only complaint was the slowness of the service from the inital ordering to arrival of food.
new delhi diamond's food is outstanding. the selection of authentic indan food is vast. It is one of the best restaurants in ithaca, and the good thing is that it is not so flashy, which means smaller crowds, In a town with two colleges and 45 minute wait lists, little to no wait on busy visiting weekends is a real treat. One last note: New delhi diamond's is in my top 3 picks for ithaca ny and i have dined at all of them.
