I have been going to Dockside Cafe for over 30 years. My Brother-in-Law, Wife and Son live in Tuckerton. Gone there for Brunch and Lunch many times. Food, service and atmosphere perfect. My daughter just gave me a surprise 84th Birthday party there for all the women I played Pool with and my Nephew and Niece who live in Tuckerton. The party was excellent and all the women commented about the food and the service. Everything was perfect.
During covid times, the server actually came out to my car and brought out the food. I was a little disappointed with the food this time though. I found a pice of plastic (half an inch) in my cheese stake. It was also really dry . the desert wasn't too great. I usually love their food, but not this time. I will still go there. May this was a mishap
My husband had a steak sandwich which he said was great. I had a shrimp salad sandwich and this is the only place I will order a shrimp salad sandwich because shrimp salad at Dockside is the best, however, this time they added old bay seasoning and it was not good, too spicy, leave the old bay out, it ruins the shrimp salad for people who like to taste just the shrimp salad.
We always enjoy our meals here. Tranquil views of the marina, wildlife And boats. Great food and great service.

The food was good, service was efficient, price was on the high end of average. Off season we were able to get a table with no wait. No complaints.

Very disappointed with the lobster roll I ordered, thought it was a lobster salad on roll, instead it was on a lettuce leaf on top of a toasted. It's was $19.90 definitely not worth the price!

they even gave me free cookies when they found out it was my first time there. Everyone was so nice. Food is excellent, you get a lot for your money.

Wonderful people, wonderful view and great place to eat
It was very busy and people were even eating outside on a very windy day. It was just beautiful sitting by the window overlooking the creek!

I had the lobster/shrimp roll and it was loaded with big chunks of lobster and shrimp and was delicious as were the sweet potato fries that came with it.

Always very friendly service we receive, the staff takes care of you right away. Staff acknowledges you when you come in the door. Food is always very good, we never have any complaints. Very clean restaurant at all times

Breakfast is the best I've had in a very long time. Happy this place exists.

I ordered a sirloin burger for 11.95 it came with bacon and 2 onion rings and a mini scoop of potato salad. The same burger with a mini scoop of potato salad but without the onion rings and bacon was 6.95. Nothing special here and the place was very cold

Dockside has unique omelets. Everything is fresh and delicious. Portions are generous. Love this place!

Food is good but today was in the 90's and the café was hot!!! Insufficient air conditioning made us want to eat and run.
It was ok. I ordered a crab cake sandwich and that's exactly what I got. No pickle. No fries. No coleslaw. Was a little surprised that it was just a sandwich in the middle of the plate surrounded by nothing but empty plate.

Breakfast at the Dockside was a very satisfying experience, from the variety of breakfast choices to the timely and courteous service. The Dockside is sure to please.
It was just O.K. A little dirty and food was not that great and also expensive. Your paying for the location. Had a grilled chicken sandwich on a soft roll. A little "white" lettuce and one (1) slice of tomato. Slaw on the side,tiny plastic cup. And a small ice tea. $11.97 thank goodness for restaurant.com.

Omelette lacked taste. Coffee was not good this visit. Switched from Half & Half to milk but it did not improve. Love the view , but breakfast was a disappointment.
Food was good, waiter was very attentive as was the waitress, was clean and the view of the waterway is very enjoyable. Will definitely visit there again soon.

It would've been good if two of the waitstaff hadn't been in a prolonged bicker over whose table was whose. The bickering made the entire room uncomfortable. We were all exchanging glances and rolling our eyes. I finally had to ask one of the pair to "Please STOP", at which point they quieted down. Yikes.

We got there and we were on the side of the bar at a big table, but NOONE came over AT ALL ! We had to go ask the bartender to get us a waitress, the waitress never came, then I actually went over to where the waitresses were standing they were busy, but they Never acknowledged us ! Finally I said we need a drink so after about 20 minutes they cam over, took our order, drinks came pretty fast but she never came back after we ordered an appetizer! It was So so tiny compared to what we have had before! One small piece of Tortilla with cheese inside cut in 6 Tiny pieces for $10.50 ! We have been there before where the appetizers were excellent and Delicious and the waitresses were very attentive! We won't be returning, Sorry to have to say this, Thank You :((

The calimari appetizer was very good. The jalapeños added a nice touch to a standard dish. The carbonara and seafood newburg we both excellent. Drinks were good. I can't comment on deserts as we were too full to order any.

Dockside Café is tucked away in an unassuming village. When you arrive you are so pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere. It overlooks a small harbor. The restaurant was very inviting, the staff were very nice, attentive and the food was just great. We had a late breakfast. It was very 'home-style'. The hash browns were the best!! The I will find it again when I am down that way.

Service was very lacking; I ordered a cocktail before dinner & reminded server 3 separate times over the course of the meal but never received it, so I finally left the dining room & went out to the bar & ordered it myself & waited for it; bartender claimed she never got the order, server said he put it in, so who knows. Both bartender & server were distracted, unconcerned, running around & uncaring.

The waitress was very rude and took forever to wait on us. The restaurant wasn't even busy. She put 3 of the 5 orders in wrong and tried blaming the owner for changing the details and not telling her.
Everything was terrific! It is just a bit cold temperature-wise in the actual room.
The young man that was our waitor was very nice, I don't remember his name but he was going back to college within a few days of our visit.
