Great food, fast and friendly service. Biscuits and gravy are fantastic, and the cinnamon rolls are the best.
We have lunch here quite often. The restaurant is always busy, but we never have to wait for refills of our beverages. The staff is always friendly and attentive.

The waiter mixed up the orders on both my husband and myself, fruit instead of potatoes, and bacon instead of ham. He quickly remedied the mix up, but when I looked at the receipt, he had actually made the wrong entries. Food was very good, though and he was attentive overall.

The young man that waited on us was cute and helpful. My husband would tease him and he would play along with him.
Server was excellent. Cinnamon rolls were best we ever had.

Pancakes were good, light & fluffy. But the "5 Car" had eggs over easy (not over medium) and under-cooked hash browns, and the "Confused in Prescott Valley" meats were overcooked.

Service was excellent-fast, pleasant, accurate. For the service & price & menu options I'd rate it 5 stars. But the home fries & bacon were a bit overdone and the hash browns were a bit underdone. The eggs were but perfect. We'll go back for sure and try the other items.

We go to backburner, just about every weekend and this time was very disappointing. Our server was never around, and They were no where near as busy as they normal are on Sunday's. My eggs were cooked way to runny, and I couldn't find her to tell her by the time I saw her it way to late to complain I had to leave for an appointment. This is not normal for this restaurant, I was wishing we had one of the regular server's.
Everything was wonderful, the server was very nice. someone had opened the pepper on the table so when I went to put pepper on my food the whole shaker opened and she fixed it right away no questions asked. Very nice.
Server was back with coffee before the cup was empty.

It was good, I would say excellent. I had ordered a sandwich that cane with guacamole on it and I had to flag down the waitress and show her that they didn't even put a little she was shock too, she did resolve the issue and was a good server but it was just good!

got there about 1:45; they close at 2. Never again. Service was SLOW. One of the owners sat at the counter and totally ignored us. One server was working. We ordered, finally, and got our food. Chicken sandwiches...the chicken was rubbery and not done...with no seasoning. The toast was burned. Then the owner turned off the music and lights, so we ate quickly and left. My dog enjoyed the hickey. Very disappointing!

The food tasted good, but for the price the portions were small. A sandwich with a side runs around 7.89 and when we asked for a few onions we were charged an additional cost. Restaurants that nickel and dime customers is a turn-off.

We stopped in on Sunday around 11:00 - breakfast was in high gear, so we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. Waitresses were very friendly, atmosphere was nice. My parents (elderly) will definitely go back since Backburners is within 3 miles of their home. Glad I went to Restaurant.com for coupon so they could try Backburners.

The omelet I ordered arrived to the table hot and was very good. You had your choice of potatoes, fruit or hash browns, I selected fruit and it was ripe and delicious. Along with the entrée you had a choice of bread...biscuit, tortilla or toast. I selected raisin bread and it was a bit more done than I would do at home but was still edible. My companion also had an omelet with two sides and he enjoyed his also.
It was fathers day and it was somewhat busy but the waitstaff was able to seat us and get us fed within an hour. The waitress even gave us, free, a homemade cinnamon roll because we could not make up our mind between the roll and biscuits and gravy, awesome restauraut and service.

I help out with a Lion's Club Newspaper Recycling Project, and every Wednesday and Saturday we go to the Backburner when we are done working. The food's always good, and the wait staff is the best - our coffee cups are never empty!
